New leaderboard registration flow

We’ve introduced a simpler way to register your leaderboard:

  1. Enter your registration code

  2. Give your device a name and select a theme

Your leaderboard will automatically refresh with these configurations — no extra manual steps needed. 👉 Head over to House & Leaderboard Devices in the app to get started.

✨ Enhancements

Admin Permission updates for staff portal

Admins now have more control in the Staff Portal. You can set permissions that determine whether staff members are allowed to delete or update points and infractions. This gives schools more flexibility in managing staff roles and responsibilities.

Parent Categories not required

Parent categories are no longer required when creating award categories. If you would like to continue using parent categories they can now be enabled and disabled under the advanced configuration tab

Rostering setup task list

To help clear up confusion around rostering setup, we’ve added a step-by-step task list that outlines what needs to be completed on your side after adding the rostering add-on in the House Points app.

Please follow the in-app checklist along with our detailed Rostering Guide to ensure a smooth and quick installation of your rostering provider.

Configurable rostering sync

We’ve exposed our sync settings for rostering. By default, syncing matches on first and last name, but you can now choose a more strict match requiring first, middle, and last name.

  • Rosters

    • Fixed permissions issues with rosters and sharing

    • We addressed an issue, where we could not search students on a particular roster. It was returning just the initial data

  • We addressed an issue where users experienced issues uploading their videos. Please refresh your screen and make sure you are on version 4.7.1

  • We resolved an issue where some leaderboards were showing 0 points after starting a new competition. Please reach out to [email protected] if you are still experiencing issues.
